10 Minute Craft Dash #11
I'm so excited to be posting my first 10 Minute Crafts Dash challenge as a Design Team member!
For this challenge, other than creating a card in under 10 minutes, is to use hearts. I decided to use the Glitz Design, Hello Friend 6"x6" paper collection which is perfect for card making. I also selected products that would be quick and easy to use. I used this washi tape for the border and this coordinating sticker sheet to the Glitz paper for the sentiment and chevron heart.
I hope you all join in and take the 10 Minute Craft Dash challenge - it's so much fun!
A few things I've learned from doing these challenges is to try and have a pretty good idea in your head before you start. Get your supplies out and ready and have a card base ready to go. One thing I've been doing for a couple of years now - when I cut an 8 1/2x11 piece card stock for a card base I fold the other half and put it in a basket. This way I have a lot of them ready to go. I try to use those before cutting new sheets.
Here's my card:
Hi Cassie, thanks for visiting my blog today! The easel I had my iPhone on came with a clock I bought from Pottery Barn ~ but it sure works perfect for the phone photos!!

How fun to be a part of the Design Team for this great challenge, Cassie! Your card is amazing and clearly shows how much dimension you can have on a card and still make it in less than ten minutes. Well done! (And I love turquoise and red together!!)
